Health Professionals for Responsible Opioid Prescribing
PROP states that its mission is to reduce opioid-related morbidity and mortality by promoting cautious and responsible opioid prescribing through prescriber education, consumer education, and policy advocacy.
Seeds of Vice is not part of, endorsed by, or authorized to speak for Health Professionals for Responsible Opioid Prescribing. This page describes public work and points readers to the organization’s own sources. Any membership, donation, campaign, petition, event, publication, or official instruction belongs to Health Professionals for Responsible Opioid Prescribing, not Seeds of Vice.
What I am following.
Its public site describes continuing work on clinician education, consumer education, state and federal advocacy, FDA-related policy, and monitoring opioid legislation and regulation. During this review, SOV did not identify a clearly dated 2026 project on PROP’s public advocacy page, so this hub describes the ongoing program rather than inventing a current campaign.
How Seeds of Vice can help with this work.
Use the State Pain Atlas to locate statutes, board guidance, public-health policy, and other official sources that affect prescribing.
02 / Source trailKeep recommendations beside governing documentsPreserve guidelines, FDA material, legislation, agency publications, and other primary sources so advocacy claims can be checked against the record.
03 / AuthoritySeparate recommendations from legal requirementsIdentify whether a prescribing limit or practice comes from law, guidance, payer policy, board action, or private institutional choice.
04 / OutcomesTrack effects and later revisionsRecord final policies, amendments, agency clarifications, and other verifiable outcomes without asking SOV to endorse PROP’s policy conclusions.
Their work stays theirs.
PROP’s risk assessments, policy recommendations, and interpretation of the opioid crisis are PROP’s positions. Other organizations in this directory publicly dispute parts of those views. SOV’s job on this page is to represent PROP accurately, point to its own sources, and make the surrounding public record available for comparison.
Use Seeds of Vice to add public records, state-by-state context, source trails, institutional maps, and documented outcomes. Do not contact anyone in Health Professionals for Responsible Opioid Prescribing’s name unless the organization has authorized you to do so.

If Seeds of Vice can help document the public record around one of your projects, use it. I will keep your work attributed to you and point readers back to your own material.
If this page describes your public work inaccurately or a source has changed, send a correction or update. The purpose of the hub is to make your work easier to find and easier to support accurately. It does not speak for you. Review, inclusion, sourcing, correction, and removal standards are published in the Organization Hub Standards.
