CONTRACT FOR CARE · DOCUMENT COMPARISON

Upload the contract. See what the state actually requires.

Seeds of Vice will compare the agreement itself against the current controlling state law, regulation, workers’ compensation rule, Medicaid policy, or other verified authority. The result separates what government actually requires from what the office added.

What the comparison shows

State-required

Terms the current statute or regulation actually requires in the circumstances shown by the document.

Program-specific

Requirements tied to workers’ compensation, Medicaid, a payer, a profession, or another limited program rather than every patient statewide.

Clinic-added

Terms the treatment office chose to impose that we cannot trace to the controlling state requirement.

Needs review

Clauses where the source is ambiguous, the authority conflicts, or a legal conclusion would require more than the document establishes.

The comparison is a document-and-authority analysis, not legal advice and not a ruling on whether a clause is enforceable.

Send the contract. We protect the patient.

You do not have to redact the contract before submitting it. Send the agreement as you received it. Seeds of Vice will remove patient-identifying information before the document or any excerpt enters the public evidence record. Please upload only the contract and any policy or addendum that came with it. Do not upload unrelated medical records, identification documents, billing records, laboratory results, or confidential legal correspondence.

Keep your original exactly as received. Seeds of Vice will create the de-identified working/public copy and preserve the original only as restricted source material.

Submit the agreement

Email is optional. If you provide one, Seeds of Vice can send you the completed comparison when review is finished. If you do not provide one, the document can still be analyzed for the public state record. Seeds of Vice reviews the submission first, removes patient-identifying information internally, and only then uses the de-identified copy for analysis or publication. Form responses are stored in the site’s Forms system and this form is configured not to send an inbound notification email.

What happens after submission

Seeds of Vice first reviews the document for patient-identifying information and creates a de-identified working copy. Then the state authority is verified against a current source. Material clauses are compared against that authority and classified. The comparison preserves the date and source used so the result can be checked later if the law changes.

A submission does not create an attorney-client, doctor-patient, confidential-source, or advocacy-client relationship. Seeds of Vice does not decide medical treatment and does not promise that a clause is lawful, unlawful, enforceable, or unenforceable.
