Before contacting us
Know what you are asking the record to hold.
Seeds of Vice is most useful when a message identifies one purpose and supplies enough context to evaluate it. A correction should name the page and disputed sentence. An official source should include the issuing body and direct link. An institutional response should identify the jurisdiction, institution, date, exact request, delivery channel, and safely redacted answer or refusal.
If you are unsure how to narrow the issue, use the Take Action method first. It will help separate the event from the authority, locate the controlling source, and turn a broad experience into one answerable question.
Choose the purpose
Different messages require different evidence.
The form accepts six routes. Choosing the closest one helps the message reach the right part of the work and makes clear what Seeds of Vice can responsibly do with it.
Work the record
If you have an experience, policy, refusal, agreement, letter, or institutional answer but do not know how to turn it into a usable public record, start with the Work the Record method. Bring us the smallest useful document or question and we can help identify the authority, narrow the issue, and determine the next evidentiary step.
Correction
Provide the exact page URL, identify the sentence or data point in dispute, attach the strongest available controlling or official source, and state the precise correction you believe is required.
Official source
Send a direct government, court, board, agency, institutional, or other authoritative source that adds to or corrects an existing record. Explain what proposition the source supports.
Institutional response
Identify the state or jurisdiction, responsible institution, date, delivery method, exact question asked, and safely redacted response, refusal, correction, or documented silence.
Collaboration
Describe the specific project, the evidence already available, the work you can perform, and the public purpose the collaboration would serve. General offers without a defined task are difficult to evaluate.
Press
Name the publication or program, identify the subject and deadline, state whether the request is on or off the record, and specify the evidence, page, book, or public-policy question involved.
Other
Use this only when none of the defined routes fits. State the purpose in the first sentence and identify the outcome you are requesting from Seeds of Vice.
Protect yourself and the record
Do not send private medical records or identifying information about another person.
Do not send prescription details, dates of birth, account numbers, government identifiers, passwords, threats, emergency requests, or unredacted records containing another person’s private information. Keep original documents private unless a separate, deliberate redaction and publication decision is made. Seeds of Vice does not provide medical or legal advice and cannot intervene in urgent care.

Be exact enough to answer.
Complete the required fields and include the relevant jurisdiction and source URL whenever possible. Submitting information does not guarantee publication. A claim will not be treated as verified without supporting evidence, and private information will not be requested for public display.
What happens next
Review comes before publication.
A submission may be checked against primary sources, returned for clarification, safely redacted, incorporated into an existing page, preserved for a future inquiry, or declined. Receiving a message does not convert its contents into verified fact.
