Community Standards
Seeds of Vice community spaces exist so members can read, document, research, organize projects, compare sources, and work with one another without turning the site into a free-for-all.
Use your own identity responsibly
Do not impersonate another person or organization. A display name may be a real name or chosen public name, but it must not be used to deceive other members about who you are or whom you represent.
Protect private information
Do not post another person’s address, phone number, private email, medical records, account information, identifying patient documents, or other sensitive personal information. Redact records before sharing them in a project.
Keep disagreement about the work
Criticism, disagreement, and correction are allowed. Harassment, threats, stalking, targeted abuse, or attempts to intimidate another member are not.
Use projects for real work
Project posts should relate to the project’s stated objective. Do not flood workspaces with spam, unrelated advertising, repetitive posts, or deliberately false source claims.
Attribute sources and outside organizations accurately
When discussing an outside organization, distinguish its own statements from a Seeds of Vice member’s interpretation. Project participation does not create affiliation with an outside organization.
No medical treatment through the community
Members may discuss public information, policy, lived experience, records, and research. Community workspaces are not a substitute for individual medical care and should not be used to prescribe treatment to another member.
Moderation
Seeds of Vice may remove content, restrict posting, suspend an account, or close a member-created project when necessary to protect members, preserve the integrity of the work, or enforce these standards.
