The Virginia Contract for Care workspace is the state reform workspace. Its mission is to organize the Contract for Care objective already carried on the current Seeds of Vice state record: preserve the controlling source, define the change target, track the formal change mechanism, collect current institutional documents, assign project work, and maintain a durable record of progress.
Recorded project objectiveSeeds of Vice records its state objective as removing the treatment-agreement requirement from 18VAC85-21 for covered chronic-pain opioid therapy while preserving evaluation, informed consent, individualized treatment plans, and clinically justified monitoring.
Formal change mechanismVirginia Board of Medicine regulatory process, with public rulemaking through Virginia’s administrative system.
