Why I Give Books Away

People are conditioned to believe that no one does anything without wanting something in return.
I reject that.
From time to time, usually around the holidays, I give books away freely.
Not as a promotion. Not to build a following.
Not to place anyone in my debt.

I do this in hope that those I help might do the same for someone else. In their own way.
Like paying for the meal behind you in a drive-through and driving away without waiting to be thanked.

I give you all seeds and hope you give away seeds too.

I go out of my way to find people suffering as I hope the people I help do too.

I give away books to people I believe are in desperate situations physically and people I believe are natural teachers, and those who are doing everything they can. It makes you all stronger and I hope that strength resonates with those around you and throughout your family.

What This Page Is and Is Not

This page exists only for book giveaways.
Teaching editions
Paperbacks or hardcovers
Copies meant for people who naturally teach, study, or explain things to others
Seeds are not part of these giveaways.
As far as seeds go your first pack is one me and your second helps me give them away to others.

Thank you for giving me your ear and for trusting me when you first come across all of this. It’s a lot to take in and if you’re anything like I was you stopped looking for help.

This page documents when books are given not to boast, but to be honest.

How Selection Works
There is no application process.
Anyone who orders a pack of seeds is automatically entered
One entry is given freely as a gift of luck
One additional entry is included for each full-price seed pack
No forms
No public pleas
No tracking of who owes what
Chance finds who it finds.

Privacy & Acknowledgment
Winners are notified privately.
If a recipient wants to be acknowledged, I prefer to do so.
If not, their privacy is respected without question.
No one is required to say thank you.
No one is required to agree with me.
No one is required to do anything at all.

Important Notes
Odds depend solely on the number of entries
One person may receive only one book per giveaway unless stated otherwise
I reserve the right to delay or cancel a giveaway if circumstances require it
I do this as a private citizen, not as a marketing campaign. So when I can I do.

A Line I Will Not Cross
Honest people only accept honest people.
There are things I believe that I do not say.
But I will never say anything I do not believe.
I will never use a giveaway to manipulate, extract loyalty, or manufacture gratitude.
It’s simply random acts of kindness towards those who participate in this thing of ours who reach out for help.
